It’s been a while since my last post. I blinked, and it’s already halfway through February! There’s been a lot going on, but I’m going to do a brief wrap-up and then we’ll start fresh 😅

Best Books of 2024

I read a lot of really great books in 2024. I gave 19 books a 5 star rating, but the bookstore I work at does employee recs based on being released last year. Here are some of my faves in a few different categories, and you can check out and purchase any of my list here.

My husband and I went on our annual road trip for the first two weeks of January! This round took us to Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana. I’ll make a separate post about that to share some of our favorite places and recommendations!

Crafts

After a year of not feeling like I accomplished much, I’m trying to get back on the wagon with some of my creative ventures. And I have one slogan that I’m trying to follow: USE THE GOOD YARN. There’s no sense in waiting for the perfect project to come along. Make it happen. And guess what…if you hate it, you can always frog it and try again. So I’m trying to use up some of my stash. More to come!

Anyway, I’m glad to be back at it, and trying to make my hobbies more of a priority! Not a New Years Resolution per se, but more of just trying to do things that bring me joy. Follow along if you want to find some more joy too!
